ACCELEROMETER​

Accelerometers are ubiquitous sensors that have found applications in a variety of fields
 Here we use a Freescale MMA7341L 3-axis accelerometer. However, any 3-axis accelerometer can be used.  

Step 1: Connection and calibration

The first step involves connecting and calibrating a 3-axis accelerometer.
